This hands-on workshop brings together local youth, musicians, and producers to explore Black-origin music, percussion, beat-making, and cultural rhythms. Led by seasoned producers and facilitators, participants will co-create beats, learn production fundamentals, and engage with the roots of Black music forms. Press are welcome to observe, speak to facilitators or participants, and gather stories about musical mentorship, youth empowerment, and cultural education.
